Please note that in the meantime a curator of Japanese Art from LACMA (LA County Museum of Art) has responded affirmatively to the concerns raised, echoing the validation we received from Japan Studies scholars, not to mention the Asian American culture blogosphere. It seems a consensus of informed voices is building.
Is it enough to get the museum to change? If you like what we're doing, join the dialogue on our blog and express your support! We need to keep the pressure on in order to make things better.
