buford, WY

america's smallest town, buford, WY, is for sale.

that, you may know.

http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/sideshow/entire-town-buford-wyoming-sale-sole-resident-183155529.html

but what you don't know is my mom (81) at one time lived in buford.  i showed her the Y! article and this is what she said ...

I don't think I am in the market for Buford. The school house where I went to second grade is included in the deal. It was one room, with two outhouses, a wood stove, and colder than the devil. I wonder how many students went there in history. We had  twelve,  grades one through eight. Our teacher was a widow, her husband had been killed by a mountain man who was still in the mountains, and apprehended a few years later.

what's interesting is this isn't the first time we've had a chance to buy a WY city.  several years ago the attendant at the gas station tried to sell us tie siding.
